Apologies for posting this. I've lurked on these forums for years and have tried tons of different products to the point that I no longer know what to do, so I'm posting this in the hope that someone might be able to hep!

I've had acne since the age of about 13 (I'm 20 now), and while my skin is definitely in a better condition than a few years ago, it is still quite bad, especially with regards to the texture, which is bumpy and red with big pores.

I've used BP on and off for years, but decided around January to fully dedicate myself to it, and have been using the regimen 2.5% BP everyday, once or twice (depending on what else I'm using on my skin).

My current regimen involves the cosrx low ph cleanser, either a tea tree and witch hazel toner or BHA toner, then I either use BP 2.5% (morning) or a vitamin c serum (evening) before moisturising then sunscreen. For the past week or two I've also been incorporating the cosrx AHA power liquid as a step between toning and the BP/vitamin c. It's quite harsh on the skin though, so I'm cutting it down to only 3 time a week.

I've been doing this regimen since around January, and while I no longer get big cysts (which I think is also due to diet changes such as no dairy, low sugar etc) my skin doesn't seem to be improving that much, and I still have this weird bumpy red texture and large pores.

It's got to the point that I'm now very frustrated, as I can't seem to be able to get rid of my acne and have clear skin, no matter at I try!

I'd really appreciate if you guys could give me some advice or suggestions on what to do

Thank you very much in advance!

Hey there! I totally understand your frustation :( Clearing up acne is one thing, and healing acne scars is another!

I've found that dermarolling and using a good serum helps a TON. Dermarolling helps serums absorb into the skin better. And serums like Vitamin C help to boost collagen production, so that the skin regains it elasticity and smooths out the texture of your skin. Whenever I use a good vitamin C serum at night, I wake up in the morning and all the redness is gone.  I like other serums that contain Niacinamide too.

Read more here: How to even out skin tone and brighten up complexion. There's other pages on that blog that should help too. :)
