Hi. I've been suffering from these strange bumps on my cheeks and chin for a month and half now, I went to the dermatologist and he said they were closed comedones and suggested extracting them with a needle, but I'm a bit wary of it scarring since it bled (pictures included), so I only asked him to do few and then decide whether to proceed or not. The problem is, he picked at them with he needle. He didn't make an opening and didn't squeeze anything like some videos I've seen online. He also prescribed me cetaphil face soap, derma-T (clindamycin phosphate) and antibacteria cream for at night. Is this the kind of procedure to treat these bumps? Will it scar my face? And all in all should I go back to the derm or find another one?

What you should do is exfoliate. I definitely recommend mandelic acid. I use to have those bumps and mandelic acid cleared up all of these bumps including inflamed acne in a couple of days.
