Hello! I'm desperate for some guidance if anyone can assist in anyway I would appreciate it.

I have a few scars (formerly pimples from over a year ago) that heal with fluid surrounding an indentation. I know I shouldn't,but I keep squeezing them open to release the fluid (which can be clear to cloudy mixed with blood) and they heal again with the fluid surrounding the indentation. When they are squeezed there's so much fluid built up they projectile in multiple bursts from fluid. What could this possibly be and what can be done to stop this? I took a 2 month round of doxy earlier this year and currently I've been using clindamycin gel mixed with benzoyl peroxide.

More likely your bodys natural healing process.if you squeeze a zit you get puss that comes out and sometumes fluid, then blood (but not all time)

think the clear stuff is what your body produces in the healing process, not exactly 100% certain though.like your bodys mechanism to react to a spot.

Thanks for your response! What makes me worried it's not the typical healing process is that it's such a large abundance of fluid and it is noticeably raised higher than the rest of my skin. It's like a pouch of fluid circulating an indentation. I've never had anything heal like this before (and I've done my share of picking at things I shouldn't!) And it just keeps on healing like this every single time! No matter how much I "drain" it through squeezing.

Problem might be that you are squeezing all time, you end up creating more inflamation making your body want to react.if you have no,what can be called puss then the infection is pretty much gone.

your face where it is will look swollen in that area as it ends up under pressure.

very carefully and i mean very carefully, pierce it with a needle, then gently squeeze the fluid out, then carefully apply something like benzol perozide to that area this will hopefully dry it out.

dont keep at it,stop picking it,eat healthy, keep your hygene good, wash with just warm clean water, pat your skin dry with clean towel.wash your hands regular theough day but keep your hands off your face.

stay off all the bad food stuff, you know the crack as its all over the forum.

the fluid should settle down as long as theres no infection, its your body fighting what you are probably encouraging through picking and touching it.

find a nice regime that suits your skin and stick to it,you already have one thats called life.just change some things that will help your skin, with a change here and there you will find your skin and general health will better itself.then you can tackle any scars you have.
:)

There isn't anymore pus- it's just fluid so it is probably me making it worse! There hasn't been any actual pussince the initial breakout over a year ago! I'll try to leave it alone for awhile and see what happens. I have been a bit too consecutive with picking as soon as the scab comes off because of how atrocious they look. I'll make a derm appointment after they've healed (again) to check for infections. Thank you so much for your advice I really do appreciate it!!
