About a year ago, I became chronically stressed. Before that, my acne had been able to heal rather quickly. Gradually, my acne began to multiply, and my previous acne treatments were ineffective at healing it. I had used clinique acne solutions and tea tree oil as a spot treatment. These did very good in calming my acne inflammation.
Now, my acne won't flatten out and scab even after I pop it. I also have dark marks across my face that won't fade. Before, my acne would scab, and no marks would be left beneath it. If I did have a dark mark, it would fade within the next few days.
Is anyone else experiencing this. Does anyone have any possible explantations for this? Could it be a dietary issue, or a hormonal imbalance? How can stress affect the body in such a way that my acne doesn't heal?
I'd also like to add that my hair and nails grow slower than usual. I've been dealing with depression and have not been getting restorative sleep.
Get your depression sorted out and start sleeping, get nitrazepam or something from your dr.
stress and lack of sleep contribute to bad skin and slin healing.
your skin heals faster and better while you are sleeping, ontop that your body handles water and sugar reserves in sleep state.not sleeping can lead to weird eating habits that contributes further to acne.
eat healthy, you should no the do not of acne and eating surely?
