I used to be an extremely talkative and outgoing kid with perfect skin. I remember using some new face wash around sophomore year of high school that my mom gave me containing BP. Since then, my life hasnt been the same.

I remember noticing the bumps on my forehead around the same time I first started using that wash, and I became obsessive. I started to use more and more acne products to try and clear my face and nothing would work in the long run. My twin brother and other brothers had/have much clearer skin and they barely wash their face. My self confidence plummeted. I have always been shy, but I began to isolate myself. Social anxiety and depression took over and still have a grip of me now, and sadly I believe that my acne plays a huge role in that.

Im a freshman in college and still have acne. I have tried many different products and nothing has worked to where I am happy with my skin and can stick with it. I am writing this post because I desperately need help. I feel as if the chemicals are my enemy and I want my acne to fade naturally, but I am afraid that wont happen. Since I first got acne, my biggest problem area has been my forehead, which is covered in closed comedones and clogged pores. I simply dont know what to do and am begging for some helpful advice. Acne is ruining my life. [Edited image out]

Hi,
It's good you're taking care of your skin. BP can really help to clear your acne, it's a proven medicine. But if your wanting to clear you're acne naturally I should try tea tree oil. It has less side affects and will also treat your acne good. You can also try to change your diet. A changed my dietdrastically a month ago and I'm almost completely clear now (I had mild acne). Try to cut out sugar, diary and high glycemic foods. It's pretty hard at first but your acne will get better.

I don't know if your acne is worser on the rest of your face but the acne on the picture doesn't even look that bad! If you're really worrying so much about your acne you can also consider to visit a dermatologist, then can give you good advice. Also try to talk to someone about your acne then can help you and you will feel better.
