A cystic pimple has formed, not on my lip line, but on my lip. I have had it now for 1 week and have spent hours attempting to cure it and thinking about it and reading about cystic acne online. From using BP, washing my face every night and morning, multiple hot compresses throughout the day, applying ice with a paper towel over it, neosporin... everything!!!! I have touched it or picked at it, but granted it on my lip which moves when I talk and comes into contact with other substances when I eat and drink! 
I began feeling the pimple coming  the day before- it hurt a lot and I could feel the swelling- and it started as  huge red mountain on my lip. I tried treating it in any ways (it began on a Friday/Saturday) and by Wednesday I was glad to see it becoming flat as skin was shedding off and I would just wipe it with a wet paper towel. I left it alone for one day to let it breathe and it looked like it helped but the size of the pimple has not gone down at all. It's flat, and very red and doesn't hurt nearly as much but still interferes with my daily life. My on won't take me to the fermi as I am not currently covered by insurance. I am not typically prone to cystic acne except I have some very small ones on the forehead that don't bother me too much. Today, I took 2 cotton balls and prsssed them on both sides on pimple causing it to ooze out a little white stuff but not much. I've been doing multiple hot compresses all morning and there really hasn't been any progress. I want this to go away as fast as possible so I can go back to eating and talking without concern.
