Those look like closed comedones, which is a form of mild acne. This does not look likePityrosporum Folliculitis from the images you have shown, but you can go to a dermatologist for a face to face consult. Typically a retinoid and/or mild chemical peels should help relieve this.

If you look at my new post they did improve but I havent got them to completely go away. I use cetaphil cleanser that foams and the Mario biduscu aloe Vera water mist. I am currently still trying to find out how to fix it
Hey I'm not sure whether you're still active here or how your skin is looking at the moment but my skin looks exactly the same! On some days better, some worse. I do have some hormonal acne on my jawline tho whenever I am on my period but it's usually nothing too bad, just a few pimples I just try not to pick at.
As for the bumps, which accompanied me now for more than 5 years (Chemical peels and also regular visits to the dermatologist did nothing), I am now trying out the anti- fungal acne route. If you are still struggling with these bumps and havent worked with anti-fungals yet as to not damage ur skin, I can update on how it worksout for me if you want 🙂
Elcaisley etc
This is malasezzia fungus, also known as pityrosporum. Malasezzia causes fungal acne. Fngal acne is caused by taking antibiotics and some other meds.
The best treatment for malasezzia fungus is topical terbenafine cream (often sold as Lamisil) - apply that to the affected areas 2-3 times a day. Do NOT use any moisturisers or organic oils on the affected areas as these feed malasezzia. Also wash your hair in an antidandruff shampoo.
If you cannot get terbenafine cream without a prescription, buy some clotrimazole cream (often sold as Canestn) and apply that instead.
The problem should resolve in a couple of weeks.
Hello! I am not sure if anyone is still active on this page anymore but I have been struggling with this same condition since 2015!!!!! It would go away and then come back every year! I just recently visited the dermatologist and let them know that I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS IS ACNE! And they said I was right!
This isMalasezzia!!This can be caused by taking antibiotics! Ive been on antibiotics over and over again for acne andreoccurringUTIs so it makes sense!
My dermatologist just prescribed Fluconazole 150mg! Two tablets! One taken immediately and the other to be taken a week after. Im one week in and THEY ARE FINALLY DISAPPEARING! After struggling with this for so long not knowing what it was to now getting a name and a treatment that seems to be working, it feels awesome and I feel in control! I hope you get to that same place sometime soon! Mention that prescription to your dermatologist!!
