I have very mild acne, some breakouts here and there, nothing serious. And now my skin has started to breakout a little, no idea why. I suddenly got a cystic pimple on my chin. It's under my skin, it hurts and is inflamed. Since this is my first one ever, I have no idea what to do with it. What can I expect? And why did this happen?
Why did it happen? Well it could of happened for a large number of reasons: hormones, stress, diet, or skin irritation. Try treating it with some benzoyl peroxide 2.5 % cream overnight until it goes away. Benzoyl peroxide kills the bacteria that causes acne. The cream could help dry out and get rid of the pimple sooner.
