Hey, everyone. I'm new to Acne.org and this is my first topic. I'm using Benzoyl Peroxide (2.5%), and it's working great for me. The only problem is, it causes peeling despite the low percentage. I think I might've used a little too much on the bridge of my nose, so my older skin peeled off. I have younger and smoother skin on that area now, but around it is the rest of my dull old skin. It's kind of weird having bright radiant skin in one area. It kind of stands out from the rest. The texture of it and the color of it is different from the surrounding skin. Will my skin tone and texture even itself out automatically if I leave it alone?

Your skin is still adjusting to the BP so give it some time. With BP your skin will get dehydrated and that is why the tone looks uneven. Do not forget to moisturize because that will help counter a lot of the redness from the BP.
