It definitely sounds like a nodule. Those are REALLY hard to treat athome, so yes, get to the doctor if you can. If you get another one, do not pick it again. You may get a little pus out, but there's a lot more to it that at-home topicals can't get to. In the meantime, freeze a spoon and apply it to your nodule to reduce swelling, take an ibuprofen, some zinc, and leave it alone. You're pregnant; you don't need additional stress. Should I just head to the doctors especially if I think the swelling is spreading?
