Hi!
i woke this morning to realize that i had this bump on the right side of mycheek adjacent to the ear and jaw.
it is hard around the bump and hurts a bit . It has a dark pigment .I also want to state that i had a bump before which was huge andd dark and i made it go away by pressing it and puss started oozing and it did leave a bad mark after that..please tell me wether this recent bump i have is similar to the other bump i mentioned or is just a pimple.
I have like 5 spots on my face that breaks out with the same exact type of (acne) cyst. It's usually red from inflammation and then leaves behind a dark pigment.
If your previous one had puss in it, it's likely a pimple. I'd advice you to just leave it alone - popping pimples increases your risk for infection, increases healing time, makes that spot look angrier, and you could spread whatever bacteria was near that cyst to a nearby location.
