I've been battling acne for about 10 years now and have used numerous prescription topicals and pills. I have a lot of acne scars, red marks, and still some acne.
Recently, I noticed that my right cheek is getting thinner and shallower than the other one. When I touch it, it feels a lot thinner than when I touch the other side. I'm scared it may be something serious like skin cancer, since I spent a lot of time in the sun within the last 2 years for my job.
I went to a dermatologist, but he was just convinced that it wasn't a problem because I was so young, and gave me meds for acne when I didn't even visit him for acne in the first place. I'll be seeing another dermatologist soon, and literally make him touch both of my cheeks to see how the one is much thinner than the other.
Any thoughts on this?
