I was around 18 when I started taking biotin & I did not have one pimple my face was clear & as soft as a newborn baby. Fast foward to a year I started breaking out horribly! I didn't know what was causing it so I decided to stop taking biotin since that was causing all my problems. Almost two years later I am still breaking out badly, I stopped bad eating habits, drinking water only and still no progression now I don't know whether or not is the biotin still in my system or maybe something else? Has anyone been through this? I don't know what else to try. I have tried every over the counter product, home remedies, proactive  etc and nothing helps. I need to know which treatment can work best for acne and acne scars.

Biotin also broke me out few years ago. I used to get cystic acne and I knew it was from Biotin as that was the only thing that I had added to my routine. Stopping it def. helped and brought my acne to normal "active" and "new acne."

Have you seen a dermatologist? Have you tried the acne.org system? Can you also provide some more details on your current routine, etc?

Right now I'm just using panoxyl & vitamin e oil I heard it was good for acne scars. That's about it, I have noticed that panoxyl just dries them and also dries my skin, I also use sunblock on my face. For some reason I stop getting acne for like 2 weeks and then out of nowhere they seem to come back! I just don't have the resource right now to go to a dermatologist, I am thinking about using the products here if this doesn't work then I will definitely have to settle for the dermatologist.
