Hi Guys,

I recently when on Retin-A a month ago because I had a lot of pores all over my face and some pimples. Also, I had this huge cyst on my right cheek for almost 6 months now. This cyst never went away and never touched it because I didn't want it to get worse. So I got on Retin-A and have seen some amazing results for the first month. However, it has made my cyst very dry and fragile that whenever I wash my face or rub it, the cyst opens up and hurts. It also starts bleeding for a good 10 minutes. I made a big mistake and tried to push out the gunk thinking it was a pimple, but it just became even more swollen and hurt a lot. Is there any way to get rid of this cyst? I've been dealing with this cyst for 6 months and I want it gone. Thanks

Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with that cyst. I really think that, due to the length of time you've been struggling with it, you should go and see your doctor for advise. Best wishes.

If I were you, I would get an appointment with your dermatologist as soon as possible. If this thing is a cyst, your derm can give you a cortisone injection to reduce the swelling. I've never heard of anything opening and bleeding like that so the best thing to do at this point would be to visit a doctor.
