Hi everyone, I found this website in hope that it could help me with my skin. I'm 14 and im starting to get acne, its not a lot but for me its a ton and I cant deal with it. I use the Neutrogena acne theropy system, it has a cleanser a 2.5 benzoyl peroxide gel and a moisturizer with spf 15. at night I wash use the bp and go to bed my in the am I do the same thing but with the spf. my skin is extreamly dry and ive been using this system for the last week and a half and seen no results. What should I do????
Firstly, because of age, you're acne is going to come so you should know it is 100% normal so take a breather. Secondly it can take up to 3 minutes nth for an acne system to work so patience is key. Stress also makes it much worse. My advice is to give it time and take care of your body meaning exercise, cut down on sugar and milk and be happy in the now.
I got got acne around the same time and wish I didn't stress it so much as it is a habit I've found hard to break up n adulthood.
