I have suffered with black heads and closed comedomes for about year and half now. Sometimes these then get infected and turn into red spots. I normally have about 2-3 active spots at a time (really mild i know) I've tried Salcilic acid didn't do anything and i've been on BP for the last 5 months with no real change. I'm 22 male from UK so I paid to see a private Derm.

She took a look and straight off the bat recommended accutane as she said it's good for the close comedomes. I've done my research about this before seeing the derm so I know all the side effects etc.

My only concern is because I'm so mild. Will I suffer from the server breakouts most people get when they first start it? She said i would need about 16 weeks on it but I don't really fancy taking it if I start coming up with about 10-20 active ones for a couple of weeks.
