I literally just went to try and take a picture now and now (I'm a female) i've realised I have thinish hair growing where the lump is like side burns... what the heck, so when I try take a picture it isn't visible. Not sure whether to be happy that isn't as noticeable or weirded out I have almost-sideburns. Basically it looks like this, apparently called a 'hypertrophic scar':

Mmm i'd say a good 3 months maybe? It took about 2-3 weeks for the huge hole to disappear and then the rest of the time it fully scarred over.

But honestly it doesn't look like an acne scar at all, it looks more like a stab wound or a slash wound. If i saw that scar i wouldn't know it was a cyst lol

Yeah I guess it's not too bad in the fact it doesn't look like it is related to acne.

I would also just like to throw out there that my doctor thought it may have been a spider bite at first but the fact that I already get cysts and it started very deep in my skin ruled that out.

Nope, just got sent out the door of the doctors with some antibiotics. 😀

And yep it sure could have been, but before it all came out, the closed lump had been there for a good month before hand. So if it was a bite it probably wouldn't have taken that long to come to the surface. Tmi everything sort of exploded out in a puss filledsac, which is apparently what cysts sometimes have.. lovely.
