Hello guys, here is another one in your company.
I've got my acne and Seborrhoeic dermatitis. Acne - 6 years, SD - 2 years. I used isotretinoin, it helped for 6 months. But I was happy, my skin was fully clear and I dont regret that I used it. I don't know what do to now, cause I used everything! Only antibiotics help me now, but only while I'm using it. The next day after using - new pimples. So sad.
You can see my photo, it looks ok maybe, but without beard it is awful. If I shave - my Seborrhoeic dermatitis progresses and becomes white-colour(you can see now it is red near my nose and eyebrow).
By the way I haven't been washing up my face for 6 months. I decided to do it cause my Seborrhoeic dermatitis goes worse after every single washing(
So, I dont know how to treat those two diseases at the same time, maybe there are some doctors here or people who have the same problem?
I had acne and bad bad seb derm on my face (especially during the cold seasons). Accutane helped both. I still get flare ups of acne and of seb derm, but nowhere near as bad.
apart from two seb derm flare ups that lasted around three-six days each, that's all i've had so far!

Hello! Thanks for your answer. Actually, I'm from Russia and here is no accutane. I used roaccutane 2 years ago, but you know what is happening with economic situation in Russia, soit is difficult to buy smth from other countries. How do you treat your breakouts those 3-6 days?
Just curiose because I'm in the same boat how much accutane for how long? My seb derm has been kept under control faily well by using keteconozole shampoo. I wash my hair with it and it prevents the seb derm on my face. My derm said it was coming from my scalp. Your acne may be caused by the fungus that causes Seb derm. I'd see a dermatologist to try and fight the seb derm and perhaps the acne will go away with it.
My acne I treat with epiduo, which works fairly fast and effectively.
my seb derm I just leave it to dry out on its own - no product and absolutely no moisturiser. I find moisturising makes it so much worse and inflammed! However, this has only been effective since accutane. Before accutane tanning and sunbeds were the only thing that controlled my seb derm
I just went to the doctor(In Russia), she recommended me to try "autohemotherapy"(intramuscularreinjection of freshly drawnblood"), she said a lot of people tried it and sometimes it helps a lot, so I have to think it out. But, first of all I need to check myImmune system.
