My doctor told me to wash my face with two cleanser.

One is prescribed by him triclosan 0.1% in the morning which I feel OK after washing.
The other is Biore smooth baby face which makes my face feel really tight after washing. And clindamycin 0.1% solution told to apply on big pimples which I don't have so I never use it.
I tried to washed with cetaphil sample but I didnt like it, it makes my face kinda sticky.
Yesterday I went to my derm, he said he can see redness and flakiness on my face, he switched me to differin 0.1 cream even when I asked him for tretionin. My derm is kinda very cautious, he said he's scared of side effect. I wish he prescribed me tretionin.
Dunno why no differin 0.3 available here in Singapore.
I bought an Innisfree serum mixed with Turbo booster vitamin C powder in the hopes of fading my red marks too.

Differin is generally less irritating to the skin than tretinoin. If your skin was red and flaky because of Differin , it would've have been worse with Tretinoin. I guess that's why he didnt prescribe you Tretinoin.

Hi everybody
It's been close to 8 months now, my skin is still recovering positively.
Now my facial skin isnt as oily as last time when I got comedones all over my face. It used to get oily 1 hour after washing my face, but now it's not. That good news, I dont feel oily anymore.
For my Differin progress, my face recovers slowly becoz I dont wanna use any topical antibiotic, just Differin itself.
Currently I apply differin occasionally every other day. On the day I dont apply Differin, I wash my face only at night, and only water in the morning. I find out that washing with facial foam 2 times a day is too much.
I would say now I'm not stressed over my acne anymore. Hopefully it will continually get better over time.

I second what wiki said above! Even though you're not on the Acne.org regimen, the principals behind it are key I think to any successful acne treatment. Be super gentle, feather-like touch. Only wash for 10 seconds. No scrubs or cleansing tools. And your skin is looking much better!
