Hi, I'm 20 years old and have been suffering with moderate but persistent acne since I was 18. Between the ages of 13 and 16 I had acne but then it disappeared until I turned 18. It suddenly came back and is mainly always on my cheeks and chin; I always have around 5-7 big spots on my face; when one heals, another forms and they are always mainly on my cheeks but sometimes jaw/chin. They are normally hard, red under the skin ones but sometimes I get clusters of little raised headless pimples. I've tried so many different skincare products (from cheap, to expensive and also all natural) to try and help and nothing has made a difference. The only thing that helped for about a month was using a cleansing brush and switching to an all natural skincare routine, but after a while my acne came back. I am on Yasmin birth control to try and help, have taken antibiotics and also a topical prescribed treatment (Differin) but they have never helped. I'm at my wits end looking for something to help, I feel ugly every day and just have no idea what to do because I've been disappointed by every product/treatment/remedy I've tried.

Any advice would be so appreciated, I just don't know what to do to make this better.

What I started to do is I ditched all the products and just started using a wash cloth at night or after I exercise. its what my sisters do, one of them doesn't even use a wash cloth just water. I really hope this is my cure because it's working so far and it's not giving me new breakouts. The cloth i use is a baby wash cloth, I also stepped my game up with green tea. The antioxidants in green tea is definetly a game changer. That's on top of lots of broccoli and carrots. Also lots of water, atleast 4 water bottles a day. Goodluck

Or search my posts for dietary advise.

I got completely clear on the paleo diet (not a spinoff, but the original paleo diet from Dr. Cordain)
It took several months.

Try desitin. This is a baby rash cream, but it works better than all of the acne stuff I've gone through. Plus its cheap-you'll see results in one week!
