I have had acne for 10 years now. I am getting tired of this, and thought it would go away on its own. Wondering what I have, as I have done a bunch of research, and believe I have some kind of fungus. I am considering on going on accutane, to clear up this problem. It use to be allot worse, but never completely gone away.
Will Accutane take care of this problem?

A derm might be reluctant to put you on Accutane for that but as you've been having trouble for 10 years they may be sympathetic and open to it. Just go in prepared to talk about what other topicals or oral meds you've tried over time and mention your concerns about possibilities other than acne. Hopefully they'll talk you through their thoughts and diagnosis to ease your mind. Good luck
