So my mild acne has decided to turn itself into moderate in the last couple months.... BUT i have purchased this brand of african black soap about a week ago and it seems to be working. I still broke out within the last week of using this but nothing like before. Although i have oily skin, the places where i break out are rough textured and bumpy to the touch, but this soap seems to be smoothing out those areas! I've been washing with this twice a day followed by a raw honey cleanser to tone down any redness and i'm seeing good results so far...(knock on wood) Everytime i post about my skin getting better it seems to get worse right after that lol i hope it doesn't happen this time. I would say my acne is back to mild again but i have A LOT of red marks on one side of my face in the middle of my cheek which extends to my jawline. A week ago, those marks were very red and looked like active acne although it was flat. After starting this regimen it looks a lot less red and toned down.

Has anyone else had any success/experience with african black soap and/or raw honey?

I have used raw honey for my acne, and it does seem to work really well. It has helped my acne clear up a bit quicker, reduced redness, and left my face feeling soft every time I've ever used it. I combine mine with cinnamon and turn it into a gently scrub though. I've actually been told by multiple people that I have a nice "glow" to my face, with or without acne, when I have used this homemade scrub.

How often do you use the honey? I've been using it twice a day and sometimes i dab some on my problem areas overnight. Do you use it overnight? I've been doing this every night for a few days now and hoping it doesn't cause some sort of pore clogging adverse effect.
