Extremely Fed Up With Closed Comedones

Hi everyone, recently I've started noticing these small flesh colored bumps under my skin. Upon hours of researching, I've finally diagnosed myself with having closed comedones. I used retina-a .1% the beginning of the year, but i'm not sure about seeing any improvement so I stopped. My main concern back then was these small red bumps on my cheeks, but after switching cleansers, they are no longer the problem. I think I've tried almost everything in sephora in order to combat these bumps but they simply dont go away. I have an appointment with my dermatologist in two weeks time, and I'm currently considering taking extreme measures (Microdermabrasions, chemical peels, ect)

My current routine just consists of washing my face with Cerave foaming cleanser (or cetaphil, not sure which) with my clarasonic and then just applying moisturizer, this helps keeps inflammatory acne away but still left with these awful bumps on my cheeks, chin, and center of the forehead. Does anyone have any at home remedies or recommendations? Has anyone experienced chemical peels or microdermabrasion?

I had this same problem and i only noticed it got better when i washed with a gentle exfoliation twice a day. Too harsh will make it worse, but gentle will slowly smooth away alll the dead skin and such without aggravating your skin. I used a goat milk bar soap with oatmeal in it for the exfoliation. Also, african black soap might help.
