I used reviva labs glycolic acid 10 % cream on my face i only used it 3 times every other night. And now it seems like i might have burn marks on my face at least thats what i assume i dont know if thats norma. Ive been putting aquaphor ointment cream on it but nothing. How can i treat these scabs and will they go away?
I don't think it's normal. I've been using glycolic acid 10% (Bioderma Sebium Serum, very good product, they sell it in Europe and Canada, don't know about the US) and nothing like this happened. Actually, it helped me with healing existing red marks and with pimples that are not fully developed (for the full-blown ones, unfortunately, it didn't do anything). Maybe you are allergic to any of the ingredients (not necessarily glycolid acid) or your skin is too sensitive. Are you using an SPF cream during the day? Because in the summer season glycolid acid can cause faster sunburn. Even if you apply it only at night, skin is still more sun-sensitive during the day.
