So at night I wash my face with benzac acne eliminating cleansar(2.5% benzoyl peroxide) and then on my spots i put 10% benzoyl peroxide(FYI I use a tinyyyyy amount of this) then after the spot cream dries I moisturize with coconut oil. In the morning I rinse my face with water, dry, and then put on clindamycin. I also take minocycline pills at night.

If you want to prevent acne, you have to use BP all over your face. The face wash doesn't count b/c BP needs way longer than a few seconds/minutes to perform its job. W/ medicated acne washes you just wash the active ingredient down the drain. I think they're pointless regardless of what the label says. I'd replace it w/ a nonmedicated cleanser that is gentle.

Since your acne isn't bad, spot treating is OK. But like I said: if you want to prevent acne, you have to use it all over. 2.5% is ideal for all-over treatment (as well as for spot treating).

One last thing is that coconut oil ranks 4/5 in comedogenicity. It could clog your pores.

I heard acne washes with bp work
