So i've had this pimple for about 3 weeks now and it just hasn't gone away, and I was wondering if this is a pimple or a scar??
It's a little bit raised off my skin, it is soft when I press it, and if I look closely I can actually see a couple whiteheads (I think they're whiteheads. basically little white dots) within the big red spot.
I have been treating it with 10% benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid but nothing has been helping. Is it possibly blood filled? I've tried squeezing it to get the whiteheads out but they won't budge, and I don't want to irritate it more.

This looks like a pimple, not a scar. It may even be a cystic pimple - I suggest visiting a skin clinic or dermatologist to get a cortisone shot for it; which will heal the pimple in less than 48 hrs. If that is not something you want to do (depending on insurance can cost around $75 for the shot), you can try activated charcoal. Origins sells a great charcoal masque. You can also google DIY charcoal masque's too. I would try icing it as well and putting Neosporin or some kind of antibacterial ointment on it as well.
