Hypothetical Question

Hello,

Just a hypothetical scenario. So you are a 23 year old male and suffered from moderate to severe acne your whole life and tried everything from diets and supplements to $3000 chemical peels and lasers and nothing is working other than mild improvement but still no where near enough for "normal" , healthy skin. Each day your whole day revolves around putting creams/lotions on and taking supplements and watching what you eat. From watching what you eat you lose weight and get skinny and lose more confidence but this still doesn't help the acne. But if you slip and start eating whatever you want, the acne apparently doubles. Say u have huge hopes and dreams but you feel acne is getting in the way, because instead of attacking your goals you spend most of your free time researching treatments and ways to beat acne. You are self conscious and not very confident as a result of acne, so your communication skills aren't the best even though If you had clear skin you would be as confident as ever. You miss out on a ton of fun events with friends because your face looks like a mess. You cancel on a girl a few times and claim your sick because you are embarrassed of how your skin looks. You seemingly can't live a normal lifestyle because of how much this skin condition holds you back, and out of fear that something u do will cause more acne. Other people tell you to not worry and no one even notices, but they don't know what it feels like because they have normal skin. You see another pimple forming after all this effort to stop acne, and it's maddening. Your sick of looking at it in the mirror every day. You beg and plead with God every night to please fix it. All you want in life is for clear skin.

So here's my hypothetical question. Say someone came to you and you were given the choice to have acne cured forever and have normal clear skin, would never have to worry about it again, and could live life with no restrictions. However in exchange for being cured forever you would lose 10 years off your life. Would any of you who experience the above on a daily basis accept the offer?

I obviously know this would never happen but if I had that choice right now, id go as far as 20 years off my life in exchange for not having acne, because right now I'm not living life at all.

Joe

Nobody knows how long they are going to live anyway, so I would choose to be able to enjoy the present with clear skin.

From your scenario It sounds like you know the pain of desperately fighting acne, only to find nothing you do works. Have you tried the acne.org regimen yet? It was the thing that finally worked for me.

Whatever it is, I hope you can find your cure. Best of luck!
