I use Epiduo at night. And, I use a salicylic acid moisturizer in the morning (It's the Aveeno one). Is this okay to do? I hear some people say that it's bad to use salicylic acid with Epiduo, but, I'm using them at different times.
------Routine-------
Morning:
1. Wash face with Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser
2. Moisturize with Salicylic acid (.5%) moisturizer
Night:
1. Wash face with Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser
2. Apply Epiduo
3. Wait 30 minutes, then apply Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer
Is the salicylic acid bad for my skin?
I think you just need to be really careful because when I use epiduo my face gets very irritated because of the benzoyl peroxide. You don't want your skin getting super dry or red. You can do that still if it's working well for you,but if you're skin starts to have a bad reaction then you need to cut back.
