hey no worries! that is PIH (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation) I used to have a lot of that stuff...and trust me, it was worse than yours. The only way to get it to go away is patience/time...unless you have the option to cover with makeup!

I found that Dan's regimen (on this site) helped a lot with reducing the amt of time it takes for your body to naturally heal the spot to its normal skin tone. Try the regimen (really whole heartedly recommend) or another gentle exfoliant

Hey! There is no doubt a way to speed that up.

The best way I believe to clear that up besides time is a BHA based cleanser.

Here's the deal, time can take 3-12 months for it to go away. Using the product I recommend it will be gone within 5 months for sure.

The product I use for it is Noxzema Anti Blemish Cleansing Pad. The product is 2% Salicylic Acid.

What Salicylic Acid does is increase the cell turnover, which begins the healing process and speeds it up majorly.

90 pads

4$ at Walmart and at any drugstore it is under 6$.

Just found the link:

http://www.walmart.com/ip/14122691

You will notice a difference very soon. They also work great to prevent blemishes and get rid of existing ones. I think it will work for you.

The pad is applied by gently going over the existing area.

I hope you try this, I know that it works!

Good luck,

WadeX
