Baisically long story short I was prescribed lymecyline antibiotics for my acne last month, I was seeing great improvement and was almost clear, when it came to repeting my perscription there was a mess up and I was left for 4 days with no antibiotics! My face is now terrible 
worse than ever it has come out in cystic acne which I have never had before. Im getting my antibiotics today but i guess my real question is will my body have gone back to before I had the antibiotics or will the fact ive only missed a few days mean I could go back to seeing the great improvements I had quickly again? Thanks for reading acne is such a horrible thing x
The thing with antibiotics is that they are just a temporary solution. Once you stop taking them (because you cannot take them forever), the acne will come back. You need to find a solution that will help in the long term. Like changing your diet, getting the right face wash, creams etc.
Plus, antibiotics are not good for you...in some cases they can do more damage then good.
How long have you been taking it for? As it might have cleared up on the outside but the antibiotics still needs to work on the bacteria under the skin . It shouldn't got back to before you where taking the antibiotics as over them four days you would still have antibiotics in your system . As well as taking these use creams and eat healthy so the antibiotics isn't doing all of the work .
had this happen to me a few days ago. I forgot to take my medication and the next day my face was filled with tiny white heads all over. Like mentioned above, antibiotics is only a temp solution. Sooner or later you will have to get off of them. I still have yet to find a solution to my acne but have noticed when i sweat alot or if im in the sun for too long my pores clog up easily and break out. But you should be back to normal after 2-3 days.
