Does anyone have any experience with taking B12 supplements and having it cause/worsen acne? I started taking the around December and that is when my acne started getting weird, meaning i got some on my cheeks, which i only rarely got there. It may be a coincidence, but i'm wondering if maybe the B12 was making it worse or something? I stopped taking them about 2 weeks ago, so I'm gonna wait another 3 weeks or so and see if there is any change. Just wanted to see if anyone had any similar experience.

Hi! Just wondering how your acne went? I had b12 injections at the end of January, within 48 hours my face was covered with the worst acne I've ever had in my life.

It's been exactly two months now since my last loading dose (I only had 3 because it got so bad!) and my skin seems to be going through cycles - so 2 weeks of acne (getting less awful each time) and then 2 weeks of relatively calm skin. I just don't get why it keeps coming back, since I'm no longer taking b12, eating red meat or seafood and barely eating dairy.

It literally makes me want to pull my hair out! I used to have really clear skin before this and I was taking acne medication, but this b12 injection over-rode any effect my medication had and now that's a complete dud. Applying my medicine now does nothing.

Its kinda the devil vitamin for skin. I too was experiencing a horrible breakout and when i finally went to the doctor, she asked me to list out everything I took. I am really into health and fitness (no sugar, no wheat, no dairy, only organic, no chemical cleaners in my house, vitamins and herbs for health taken every day), so I created the list. When I said B Complex, she said "YA, stop taking that RIGHT AWAY". I explained to her that i even kept a bottle of sublingual B Complex on my desk and gave myself a dose every afternoon.

Stop with B12 and any other B vitamins ASAP. If you eat well and take care of yourself, your body doesnt need the extra vitamin. Your skin will improve if you stop. Mine is incredible now, and I was crying every day about how awful it looked before.

Looks like you have an allergy/intolerance and are on your way to banishing acne, below are some of the chemical additives which cause me to have a huge cystic spot, these can be found in "just add boiling water" products

Monosodium Glutamate, Hydrolyzed Corn, Soy Protein, Maltodextrin, Sugar, Dehydrated Soy Sauce , Soya Lecithin, Potassium Carbonate, Sodium (Mono, Hexameta, and/or Tripoly) Phosphate, Sodium Carbonate, Turmeric, Silicon Dioxide (Anticaking Agent), Disodium Inosinate, Disodium Guanylate, Lactose.

Maltodextrin,, Niacin, Thiamin), Colour (E150c), flavourings, Flavour Enhancers (E621, E635), Emulsifier (E322) (containsSoya = RESULT A HUGE CYSTIC SPOT, FACT

once I was taking kelp (seaweed) tablets and broke out, this was because in the making of the tablet they used a chemical additive, seems like it's the same with you.Now I am clear for years at a time if I avoid these chemicals
