How Do I Stop This? I Have Tried Almost Everything

Okay, so I have had acne for probably about a year and a half, which I know is nothing compared to some but I really wish I could get rid of it somehow anyway seen as I have been trying really hard for the past 5-6months.

I have been using Witch Hazel around twice a day, Benzoyl Peroxide nightly (2.5%) and been moisturising maybe 2-3 times a day. I allow the Witch Hazel to be absorbed by the skin if that is even a thing.

Also, I haven't been allowing the Benzoyl Peroxide to sit overnight, I have put it on then 5minutes later I will moisturise. I also eat fairly healthily, try to avoid caffeine and I am a very fit person in most respects. I don't know what else to do, it seems that once some go, more come.

I hope I have provided anyone with enough information to possibly help, as that would be brilliant.

Cheers

From my experience, witch hazel is terrible for acne.

If the witch hazel contains alcohol then it is not good to use as it may just cause more irritation.

Why are you not leaving the benzoyl peroxide on overnight? It is probably having little if any effect if you just leave it on for 5 minutes. Just my opinion.

Have you seen any improvement in your skin?

Since I have been using the witch hazel I have not seen too much improvement no, and I will begin to leave the Benzoyl on for the whole night, I wasn't because I was unsure whether it would cause irritation. I may also stop using Witch Hazel as I am not 100% It doesn;'t have alcohol. Thanks for the replies

I would stop the witch hazel and I am not sure why you are moisturizing so much but it seems like overkill to me.
