Just wanted to know if any of you guys use just aloe vera gel as a moisturizer or know anyone that does. What is your experience with aloe vera gel?

I have this red, irritated, sensitive, acne prone skin. I don't how else to describe it, it just sucks. I constantly get pimples and I always have red bumps on my face that signify acne. Right now, I have a perscription cream from my dermatologist with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. I also use the acne.org cleanser.

I'm looking for a good moisturizer to put on after these two products and have started looking into aloe vera gel. I'm just wondering if you can just grab any bottle of just aloe vera gel at the pharmacy and put that on your skin or if there is a specific formula or brand out there you guys would recommend.
