There's a diet I started a little over a month ago in an attempt to resolve my skin issues. After many test & trials, I do have something that's working quite well for me. I am a firm believer that a strict diet can immensely help acne.. Especially certain moderate-severe cases which I believe I was under the category of.
Anyway.. One of my co-workers know of the diet I'm doing and he brought a diet called "Whole30" to my attention. Turns out there's an actual term for the diet I've been doing, which I had no idea of. About 90% of this diet is what I implement in my life and I've been seeing results. Sometime in the future when I believe I'm clear "enough" and whatnot, I will make a separate thread on my acne story with before/after pictures, but for those that want to try out this diet, here's the link: http://whole30.com/whole30-program-rules/
It's made to last 30 days, but for me it's a lifestyle now. I would like to see if any of you with moderate-severe, or even just "light" acne would benefit from this.. So if you'd like to give it a try, feel free to do so!

I'm on day 3 of my whole 30, I really hope it works! I have a suspicion that my acne is caused by hormonal imbalances/inflammation. Either way, this is a great program for anyone! Thanks for sharing.

Your suspicion on your cause of acne sounds similar to mine, except I think I had very poor bowel movements as well.
