Hello
I have mild to moderate acne and cannot find a solution that works.
Twice daily I use the brand "Simple" cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen.
For certain reasons I cannot ever take antibiotics for acne.
For treatment I have tried benzoyl peroxide, adapalene gel and isotrex gel (topical isotretinoin.) In various combinations or each alone.
None of these products clears me up completely. The Isotrex is best but it is far too drying.
Could anyone give me some advice?
add a toner with aha such as glycolic acid to your regimen to use after you cleanse. it should help to keep those pores clean.
if you don't want to use a toner just use a lotion with glycolic acid in it nightly and that should do it. they sell it on this site but there are many other places you can find it as well. use bp to spot treat but the glycolic should keep you fairly clear. also I would check to make sure your moisturizer and sunscreen are non-comedogenic too.
