This is probably gonna sound really stupid...

 

But does anyone think that listening to a certain song gives them pimples? ;o...

I dont know why!! I seem to realize if I listen to a certain song, I get pimples. And when I don't listen to it, I get less pimples.

 

And I don't really listen to "sad music" because I know then my stress hormones will cause pimples.

I'm talking about like pop music.

 

I'm probably just stupid and being weird

Wel being stressed gives you pimples (something about insulin)

.

If you're listening to a song, that reminds you of when you were depressed so therefore you feel depressed.. then yeah its likley.

Theres a gut-brain connection with acne.

Yes, If a certain music makes you nervous or sexually nervous this can influence acne, but I don't believe it will give you severe acne. Diet is the root cause of acne. There are some places in the world where teens don't have pimples and they also can't eat the rich oily foods like chocolate bars, milk and milk products, vitamins (over stimulate, out of balance), oily supplements (omega 3, fish oil A&D, wheat germ oil, flax seed oil), and high in fat fast foods (deep fried). Some places like Papua New Guinea don't have the junk foods. They live on what they catch, hunt, or grow. Out of 1200 people tested over a 2 year period by doctors (AMA) they found not even the smallest pimple. See, it's diet. The so many acne sufferers have the kind of diets that later on in life cause problems with the heart. Diseases like high blood pressure, heart diseases, and stokes. Better to eat good food than to take the creams to cure you acne.

There are different levels of nervousness. I can imagine even a song can influence a breakout. This reminds me, a few years back we were at "1964 the Tribute". This is a Beatle imitator band and they are probably the best in the business. My son, then was about 15 when he got his first pimple. When we went into the concert Jeff's face had no excessive oil or even one pimple. When we came out of the concert I could see in the light of the parking lot that his skin had become very oily, it glowed. During the concert a 20 year old girl sat beside him and flirted with him. He got nervous and uptight. That night he got his first pimple. A big red one on his cheek. I knew then that I had looked Acne right in the face. I think the late night and being tire and sleepy at that late hour has something to do with the acne too. And at night the oily car exhaust with the moisture in the air will come down and settle on your skin. It's always good to get enough sleep most of the time.

Later, Jeff told me that he had been eating a lot of Hershey chocolate chunks lately. This would make it possible to breakout with emotional stress or stimulation. My point is that if a teenager will eat vegetables with high levels of calcium in it like Broccoli, Asparagus, Romaine Lettuce, and Baby Leaf Spinach he or she will probably not be able to get nervous enough to get such oily skin providing the rest of their diet is in check.

On the other hand if they drink milk with all of it's fatty oils and extra hormones (growth hormones) they probably will have many pimples. Milk and milk products are the number one cause of acne. Chocolate runs a close 2nd. Then if you drink coconut milk or coconut water you are drinking a high fat drink. Please get used to eating vegetables daily. You can buy mixed vegetables from the frozen food section and to cook just stick it in the microwave for 4 minutes and it's done, very yummy.

Tossed salads are great for cleaning up your skin. These raw vegetables dilute the oils you take in so your skin won't be as oily.

Here is how to eat the broccoli and asparagus. Steam it, put the broccoli or asparagus in the steamer. Turn flame on high until you see steam coming out from under the kettle lid, then turn flame down to low as to not burn the contents. At this point time cooking for 20 to 22 minutes. Turn off flame, take off lid, and let cool and eat. Keep the rest in a Tupperware. You will probably like salad dressing on these vegetables. Use sparingly because of the oil content. Cardini's brand Caesar salad dressing is all natural and will make vegetables taste great.

Everyone needs fat in their diet. Fat makes it so we can absorb calcium and have normal bone growth and absorption of protein. Calcium performs many important functions in the body. Just eat the fat foods in moderation. When you put salad dressing on your salad limit the amount you use. Butter is the same way, not much. You might want to stop it with the butter for a while until the acne clears up, then use a little for a week and see what happens. Learn to regulate it so you don't break out.

Here's what to go by, "Think good about yourself and eat good food in moderation." Always remember, "Think good about yourself and eat good food in moderation."

Stay clear of Cokes, drink water instead. Cokes and all soft drinks are basically sugar water, some have a lot of caffeine. These drinks make you overheated and dehydrated. They overstimulate the oil glands and make acne worse.

Eat lean red meat, chicken that is not too oily, fish, ham, and beans like chili beans for protein. Stay away from all dairy products which include Milk, Milk Shakes, Jamba Juice, Yogurt, Ice cream, and all cheeses. These foods cause acne and drain calcium from your body. The America Medical Association has proven this by testing 80,000 nurses for their Osteoporosis. They studied the 80,000 nurses that were all milk drinkers. Found that the ones with the most advanced stages of osteoporosis also were the ones that drank the most milk. America is the milk drinking capital of the world and also the osteoporosis capital of the world.

About calcium, there is more calcium in a certain fish that most people don't know about. It's the SARDINE. In the 4 oz can there are 250 mg of calcium. That's 250% of the calcium you need in a day. Sardines are a strong tasting fish, but there are many ways to eat them that make it taste good. I put some vegetable oil on a pan, then slice some onions in the pan. Open the sardines, pour out the water first then put them in on top of the onions. Chop all the fish and onions up with spatula while it's cooking. Don't over cook, turn off flame and put the contents in your plate. Put on some ketchup and mustard and top it off with Premium Saltine crackers or Ritz crackers.

This kind of food with make you healthy.
