Generally everyone says to wash your face two times a day, in the morning and at night. I'm a teenager and I shower/wash my face for school at 7 am, workout at school from 3-4pm, and then shower/wash my face at 9pm.
Should I add in an additional time to wash my face after I get home from working out? I obviously get sweaty during working out and I'm worried that the 5 hour span between me being all sweaty and showering is negatively affecting my acne. However, would washing my face three times a day be overdoing it?
Just like you, I almost have the same schedule as you. I work out around 12 in the afternoon. Anyways, I think it's OK to wash your face after working out. As long as you don't overdo it. Just use enough water to wash off the oils created from your workouts. But, if you do wash your face, make sure you clean your hands very thoroughly, because working out involves machines or just touching things with LOTS of bacteria. So, make sure to clean your hands thoroughly before washing your face. Oh and make sure its cold water, to cool off your skin.
