Hi, im a 17 year old living in dubai, and a couple years ago, i had a lotta zits that I popped cause they were annoying. They took their toll leaving behind these unsightly scars, and I dont think anything can help me. Hopefully im wrong. Ive never visited a derm, so i dont know how to classify my acne, but hopefully someone can tell me a thing or two about it. How do i get rid of it? am i doomed to carry these scars forever? please advise me. Ive lost all my self confidence and I dont even go to parties anymore, cause people take a lot of pics, and i dont like myself seen in the condition im in
Pics are as follows
I would go see a derm about it.
But for the time being eat healthy, drink a lot of water, and don't stress because it make it's worse, don't touch your face and change your need sheets regularly.
Also you will hear this a lot but nobody should judge you on your acne. People will I will not lie but don't act like it bugs you. It's not like you asked for acne. A lot of teens have acne once in there life. So don't worry about it.
I've suffered from ugly back acne. Now it's gone but it took weeks.
Anytime you suffer from acne it's because area is not exfoliated enough. Also, wash hands often and occasionally use isopropyl alcohol to clean finger tips, under nails and cell phone! to rid of bacteria.
To get rid of scar, the process requires drying out cells, steam, exfoliate and repeat each week. Gently wipe area with flat cotton pad containing Bragg's apple cider vinegar (natural glycolic acid) then tape them on skin for 30mins/ 1hr or longer. Typically, I use a bandaid for a small scar. Remove and jump in shower. Place a water soaked towel between warm to very warm on area to increase circulation (do this everytime you shower). Leave on as long as you can while you shower. Use the towel to help exfoliate wash other areas for acne prevention. Wait until skin is dry or next day then exfoliate using a soft fine double sided emory board (120/240 grit). This is similar to microdermabrasion. Start with fine side(240) and gently exfoliate in small circles over area. Be careful, you don't want to break the skin. My back is able to handle the med grit (120) followed immediately by the fine. Use the emory again a day or two. Make sure you stop using the emory 2-3 days before repeating the process with ACV otherwise area will sting and burn.
