Is anyone else afraid to go to the dentist? I have a terrible fear of going to the dentist because whenever i go for an appointment I BREAK OUT LIKE CRAZY????? The glasses they make me wear touch my forehead and they touch my face with their hands and it's feel really gross. Is this the cause of my break outs?
I don't think so.
The glasses they give you are cleaned before/after each patient, and even if dentists may touch your face, they are wearing gloves. Unless you have an allergy to latex, I don't think this is what is causing your breakouts.
Acne can be caused by stress, so perhaps it is just the stress and anxiety of going to the dentist and the fear of breaking out, that is causing your breakouts?
