Hi
I used to be on accutane for almost 1.5 years at a mild dosage of 20mg.
I stopped it after 1.5 years and my face cleared up tremendously.
However after 6 mtns, the oil started coming back.
i have pimples appearing very occasionally. I'm wondering if i can take accutane only when I have small pimples becus i hate to be depend on this medication.

Likely not. Derms won't put you back on Accutane when your acne is really mild unless you have special or unusual circumstances.
If mild enough (like I think it is), you can manage acne with topicals, like retinoids.
If you have literally hundreds of small pimples all over your face, you might want to go back to the derm.
