My skin needs extra moisture but worried about it affecting the ph of the paula's choice bha. What should I do?

I heard the skin's pH returns to normal fairly quickly, but I haven't seen any studies confirming that.

Not all moisturizing/hydrating ingredients are affected or degraded by acidic pH.

You have two options:

1. Apply Paula's Choice 1st, then wait until you have dryness to apply moisturizer

2. Pick a pH-neutral salicylic acid product.
