Need Help/advice

i'm latino and suffer mild acne. most of it are in my cheeks, moving all the way down to about an inch away from my sideburns. it's just like a broad area in each cheek with hyperpigmentation left from pimples that used to be there and the occasional cyst or two. there aren't even that much bumps, it just looks like some big red stains on my face. it's not too hard on my right cheek, but it looks terrible/serious on my left cheek. it's looks like it's starting to happen in my chin too, but it's not as noticable/serious as in my cheeks.

for my routine, i don't do anything in the morning, but around 4pm i cleanse with oxy maximum protection face wash, exfoliate with biore pore unclogging scrub, and then moisturize with clean & clear dual action moisturizer, all while i'm in the shower.

i sorta have oily skin. usually like 14 or something hours after i shower, my skin starts to get real oily. sometimes it depends where i'm at. theres times where i'm at school where my skin gets so oily out of nowhere that i kinda feel the grease there around my mouth/cheek area.

i've noticed that when i don't drink milk, my skin slowly gets a slight bit better. i don't know if my diet might have something to do or not.

any advice or help is appreciated. might take this thread down in a couple of days.

I suffered from acne all my teen and adult life, I'm almost 40. I have tried everything over the counter, prescription (accutane 2x) & spent thousands of dollars on treatments. About 4 months ago a new esthetician took one look at my face and asked me if I drink coconut milk. I responded that I do. She told me coconut milk was reason for my cystic acne. The other reason, dairy! She told me to stop consuming all dairy & coconut milk. Well accepting the concept of no dairy was for me impossible. I love cheese, all cheese. I also love drinking milk. I decided when I got home that night to look up dairy allergies. What I found on Google was astonishing. Milk was never meant to be consumed by people. Its full of bacteria, feces, blood and other gross stuff. Sure, milk is pasteurized but, many like me, are still very sensitive to all the bacteria. What I found online shooked me so much that I decided to do an experiment. I would quite dairy for 2 weeks. If in two weeks I wasn't clear, I'd go back to milk.

 

After 1 week of now dairy I started to notice that the cystic acne that I'd had for months was finally healing & no new zits. After 2 weeks my skin started to glow. I experimented at 3 weeks to consume cheese (pizza for dinner). Pizza was a bad move, i had a pussy zit on my stomach the next day. On my stomach - tuck! Back to no dairy, it was clear at that moment that dairy had been the source of all my acne!

 

As the weeks and months went by, my skin had completely cleared. Even my hyper pigmentation had gotten better. What is remarkable & heartbreaking is that dermatologist know dairy is a source of acne. They won't tell you of course. Beauty & pharmaceuticals is a multi billon dollar industry. Its not in their best interest to educate acne patients.

 

So if you are a dairy lover like I am, do the experiment for one month. I drink almond milk & love it so much more. It much healthier for you. Cheese I still miss but its not worth a cystic zit. I should mention that I've never been lactose intolerant.

damn, that's amazing! congrats on the discovery. i'm starting on that experiment tomorrow, and i'll keep posted. thanks so much for the advice. much love
