Hi all-

I obtained a cystic pimple about a week ago (I have pretty clear skin usually), and it was super painful and large. It popped 2 times, and it is painless now, but there is still a massive bump, and I can feel liquid (not necessarily pus) still under the skin. Is there any way to speed up my body's absorption of the fluid using topical gels or any other solutions? This cystic pimple is not inflamed anymore- it's just huge and full of clear fluid.

Not to worry you or anything, but the last time that happened to me was two years ago...and I still have the cyst (except it's much smaller and harder, just sort of dormant). However, it is early days for you, and it could completely disappear, cysts are quite stubborn and do take their time to go away completely. I'd suggest not popping it again, or any other cyst you have, really, because it could lead to scarring/take longer to go away.

You could try AHA+ I've heard that's good on cysts 🙂
