Spot Picking

So I don't know if this is the right forum (I'm new) but I REALLY need some advice on my spot picking problem so if anyone can please help me, I'll be so grateful.

I don't get a lot of spots but when I do, I always pick them. In the past they've went away within a week or so, but this past couple of weeks it's gotten worse. I have a large patch of scabs on my forehead which I cannot stop picking whenever they start to heal. I keep telling myself not to but I can't help it. I keep it clean and cleanse my face daily but that just goes to waste whenever I realise I have the forming of a scab.

I guess I'm just asking for advice on how to deal with this? Is it normal & how can I stop myself AND get rid of these scabs?

I am the same, when i pick a spot it forms a scab. The scab starts the flake and i just cant help but pick it.

My new years resolution is to stop picking, i dont look in the mirror as much now either.

I have an elastic band round my wrist so very time i am about to pick i just pull the band and let it slap my wrist. My skin looks better now after a few days of not picking.

Alot of people pick
