I'm 23 and acne has completely destroyed an important period of my life. I don't see friends, don't go out, don't see my family, basically anywhere I'll be seen i refuse to go.

I've tried Retin-A. BP. Hundreds of different cleansers/moisturisers.

I've uploaded a few photos to show how bad it is - quality isn't great as it's just from my iPhone but hopefully gives an idea, but I'll try to describe my skin & acne as fully as I can:

My skin is:

  • Very pale
  • Dry but gets oily when I moisturise in summer
  • Very sensitive, when I use products it becomes extremely red/irritated, often stinging.

My acne is:

  • Completely contained on my lower face/neck. I doubt I've ever had a pimple on my forehead.
  • RED! I rarely get a single whitehead or actual spot. Maybe once a month.
  • Relentless. Started around age 15. I'm 23 now and have never had a 'good skin day'

I'm absolutely desperate now. I need any kind of help of what I can do (Products, creams, etc). I just want to start my life. Any and all help is really appreciated.

Cleansers and moisturizers really don't do anything but dry skin and give more pimples. Have you tried differin? Im on it now and has stopped my steroid acne from 100s of pimples to zero. Or give AHA a try. Just moisturize before use and after. I had great success with it but steroid acne are like super pimples so bp aha don't work on them.
