Weird Little Forehead Bumps

So about a year ago my skin broke out in these tiny little bumps. Didnt look like pimples but when squeezed hard I could get something to come out. Went to the Derm and she gave me Retinol and Solodyn. Used the retinol religously for months, nothing happened. The bumps stayed. Eventually the bumps on my cheeks went away, but concentrated on my forehead. I eventually started BC and my face cleared beautifully. Had absolutely nothing wrong with. No blackheads, ZILCH.

Fast foreward to 2 weeks ago...

I get one huge zit between my eyes. After that my forehead ONLY breaks out in these little bumps again. I start the Oxygen peel bootcamp from Philososhy and it seems to bring little whiteheads to the surface. However there are still TONS on these little bumps on my forehead. The rest of my face is silky smooth and clear. Note: I had stopped taking my BC for a few months and my face stayed clear.Started it up again for about a month now.

Currently my regime is:

Am: Philosophy 3 in 1 cleaner with the Clarisonic

Persagel

Hope in a jar

PM: Philosophy with Slarisonic

Help Me by Philosophy

Hope in a jar

Theyre closed comedones i think, sometimes called whiteheads.

They can be quite stubborn and give the skin a rough look :/ I have them too and in certain lighting they look worse. They don't always have an obvious opening and squeezing them can just inflame them.

What i do is exfoliate, i used to do it manually with a scrub but i would end up scrubbing too hard and just irritate them so now i use a chemical exfoliant, mine is Glycolic acid. It has done wonders for me and has many more benefits too, like rejuvenating the skin (after using BP for many years my skin looked a bit saggy, but now its back to normal)

people also say steaming helps, but be careful you dont do any damage.

Please dont worry about these, they arent painful like a big throbbing cyst and dont scar you.

I would also make sure you moisturise your skin, dry skin can cause these and moisturising wont make your skin greasy but rather restore the natural hydration of your skin.

If they are particularly stubborn you can use a retinoid

Hope they go soon :)
