Whiteheads On My Upperlip! And Red Marks!

Hey all!

So I'm going to disclose a rather unfortunate pattern in my acne:

I get white heads and a lot of acne on my upper lip (as in, the area between my nostrils and upper lip). I've almost always had this problem and it is difficult to cover with makeup and very noticeable -- hence, quite a bit of anxiety on my part.

I use concealer and foundation (Make Up Forever; I always use mineral and all that good stuff). I'm VERY hesitant about dropping makeup altogether, though I know that helps the acne clear up faster.

Additionally, I've been on Doryx/Ziana for about a month and I feel as though I'm clearing up but I have so many red marks left over from past acne. I know they takes "months" to get rid of but I hear about all these miracle cures with lemon juice etc etc. Anyone have any advice on healing red marks faster?

Thanks!

Des

Try AHA+. I've been using it for almost 3 weeks now and there's been noticeable difference in my hyperpigmentation.

Do you think it could be from something you're putting on your lips? Maybe some lip balm or even toothpaste is causing you a problem.

also switch to a non flourdie toothpaste, try that for a month and see if that helps

and I agree with the other poster, use an AHA they work great, takes a while but slow and steady progress

Thank you so much, guys!

I really don't know what is up with my upper lip. The only thing I can think of is maybe makeup -- but I use it on the rest of my face and my upper lip sees to suffer the most.

As for the hormone check, could one do that at a regular doctor's office?

What AHA+ creams would you suggest?
