Hi everyone! So I have one month left studying abroad and I have a derm appt for the end of this month once I'm home. Problem is I have developed an extremely painful cluster of boils, cysts, inflamed acne on both of my cheeks. I'm at a loss of what to do. I have tried every remedy known to man at this point (aside from accutane). Past attempts for acne have included BP, s acid, sulfur, zinc, retin a, atralin, acanya, tea tree oil, apple cider vinegar, dietary changes (no dairy, no sugar, gluten free, paleo), and supplements (daily I take fish oil, zinc, msm, multivitamin, probiotic, have tried pantothenic acid which mild success). I exercise almost every day. I think I want to try accutane when I go home because I am emotionally exhausted from my acne. I never had bad pimples until I turned 20 last year. HELP??

Could be a specific sensitivity, such as citrus (citric acid is also found in many sodas, so it's not just citrus fruits). Could also be a follicular infection, though that's less likely to be bilateral.
