Are you on any medicines? If so, you can prevent dry skin with a good moisturizer (I always recommend CeraVe cream). You can also use your acne medication every other day. As for getting rid of current dead skin, I would soak a towel in warm-hot water and place it over your face. Take it off when it starts to cool, repeat a bunch of times until the dead skin is falling off. Then, gently wipe away the dead skin. Finally, dry and apply moisturizer.
