I rarely get acne but for some reason when I do it will always be a cystic pimple and always specifically on my nose! I used to have one on the side of my nose but I drained it and it disappeared in 2 days, I tried to do the same to this one but I can't find it's head or anything yet. It is located on the bridge of my nose near my right eye and it is actually pretty big for a cystic pimple. I wash my face daily with salicylic acid and apply benzoyl peroxide on it but nothing really seems to be happening, right now I'm currently using ice because it is painful! Another thing why do I only get cystic pimples on my nose? Like literally always a cystic pimple on any area of my nose!? Am I eating bad or something? Please help! Thanks in advance!

go get a cortisone shot and then use some sort of bha or aha every night. it will help keep those pores clear. cysts can take a long time to go away otherwise. good luck to you! also another good thing to do is to take 2 aleve twice a day for a few days to help bring down the inflammation and it helps with the pain too

I agree with tracy521, however a lot of people find food sensitivities trigger cystic acne. Try doing an elimination diet to identify your specific food sensitivities.

I have found that sulphur has helped with my cystic pimples to heal faster than BPO. It also isnt terribly drying to the skin. I use this on a regular basis and it has greatly helped. Hope this works for you :) https://www.amazon.com/De-La-Cruz-Sulfur-Ointment/dp/B00411B4CC/

I have no idea what you would do with a cystic pimple on your nose. That would be pretty bad. I think that it's probably a good idea to let it go down in time. Can you show some pictures of the cyst? That would give me an idea of how bad it is.

Typically I try to let my cystic acne go down in size. That seems to do the trick.
